No – I’m still not starting on the catamaran. Sorry. But, I am going to build a stitch and glue rowing dory. I have started a different blog for that build that can be found here:
I’d love to have you follow along with the build and look forward to comments and suggestions on the build.
Enjoy! Thanks for looking in.
My Slider build is going to be on hold for a while. I do want to get started on it as soon as I can.
In the meantime I’m going to be building a little sharpie – and you can check out my sharpie pages if you wish.
A new blog created to chronicle the building of a cruising catamaran.
She’s called Slidercat. A 16 foot sit-in catamaran. Designed by Ray Aldridge.
As of today I have the plans for Slider ordered. Anxiously awaiting their arrival…
I’m totally new to the blog thing so please hang in there with me while I get the hang of things…
My intention is to give as much information and photos where possible, as to the building of this boat to help others in the process of building their own if they wish.
I am a beginning boat builder myself so my methods may not fit a professional’s ideal of the way to do things, but I’m going to do my best to make a fine boat at a reasonable price.
Things may be a little slow at first as I get set up to build – I wanted to get this page setup beforehand so I’ll be ready to start building when the time comes.
